FLIGHT PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP
for CAMTS-certified Flight/ Transport Programs, Hospitals, and other entities
Program Membership is appropriate for all air medical transport programs, hospitals, and any other non-aviation partnership, corporation, non-profit organization, or business entity directly or indirectly involved in the air medical transport industry or community.
FLIGHT CHAPLAIN MEMBERSHIP
for students or working Flight Chaplains
Flight Chaplain Membership is appropriate for individuals who meet the following education and training:
- Master’s degree (M. Div. or M.A. in theology with focus in pastoral care and counseling), 4 units (1.872 hours) of hospital-based Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training, preferably in a Trauma I or II Center
- Employment as a Flight Chaplain with a CAMTS-certified Flight/ transport Program a minimum of 12 hours/ week
It is APFC’s policy that the above qualifications, training and education must be met by all persons working in the air medical transport industry who identify themselves as a Flight Chaplain, and by anyone who seeks membership in APFC as a Flight Chaplain Member.

Associate Membership is appropriate for all persons who seek individual membership but who do not qualify for other narrowly defined membership categories. APFC welcomes all persons into membership whose professional education, training and experience closely relate to the mission of APFC, and encourages individual membership in this category.
ACADEMIC PROGRAMS and CHAPLAIN ASSOCIATIONS
for seminaries, schools of theology, hospital-based CPE programs and Chaplain Associations
Academic and Chaplain Association Membership is appropriate for seminaries, divinity schools, schools of theology, hospital-based CPE programs, and all Chaplain Associations.
