Greg Hildenbrand is the Executive Director of Life Star Kansas. He has served in that capacity since 1991. Life Star is a not-for- profit corporation/ consortium owned by Stormont Vail Health and the St. Francis Health Center in Topeka, Kansas. The program serves northeast Kansas, and has bases in Lawrence and Junction City, in addition to its headquarters in Topeka. Life Star was CAMTS accredited for the first time in 1996, the first air medical transport program in the four-state region to do so, and one of the first in the country.

In his role as the Executive Director of Life Star, Mr. Hildenbrand oversees all aspects of the program – air and ground transport, both adult and neonatal; clinical, communications, operations, and safety. Mr. Hildenbrand has a Masters in Health Services Administration. His credentials include: MSHSA, FACHE, CMTE.

Mr. Hildenbrand has been a worship leader in his church, First United Methodist, for over 20 years. He also writes a worship blog, Life Notes, that goes out to various sites. Mr. Hildenbrand currently serves on two other non-profit Boards – the Sanctuary Foundation for Prayer and the Association for Critical Care Transport. He and his wife have been married since 1987, and have two adult children. They live in the country, just south of Lawrence, Kansas.
